I’m so excited to finally have my copy of Chanel Miller’s book. Do you remember the case of the privileged white swimmer Brock Turner? He sexually assaulted Chanel, then identified as Emily Doe, and only got a slap on the wrist because of his promising future. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have heard nothing but praises for this book and I’m excited to be reading it for our Book+Journal group at the end of the month. Chanel’s book is so raw, vulnerable and a beautiful accounting of her journey. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have you read it already? Or plan to read it? Either way, please join us to read the book and use it to reflect on our journeys and share in a meaningful way.
