Thus far in our Book+Journal events, we’ve read three books and are now reading a fourth, “Know My Name” by Chanel Miller. It’s so interesting to read about another woman’s journey and hear her truth and while each of these authors come from different places, ages, sexual orientation, racial/ethnic group, etc.,there are some universal truths. At our core, we all want to be seen, be accepted for who we are and we want our lives to matter. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Reading these books gives us an opportunity to recognize that we are all connected and that in another woman’s journey, we can see our own. It’s an amazing opportunity for reflection and personal growth.
Consider joining our Book+Journal events to reflect, write, share and grow together.
