Education when I was growing up was all about how much knowledge we could jam into our brains before we finished school. The common knowledge and belief espoused was to just get a great education and life will be good. I did do that, got a great job and did all the things society told me to do but none of it led to fulfillment or contentment. For me, it wasn’t until I became self-aware and starting seeing myself and the world through self-awareness that I found the things I’d always been looking for.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I signed my son up for summer bridge program to prepare him for middle school. I thought it’d be more math, English and science but was pleasantly surprised that all of it is about emotional coaching with journaling, being aware of feelings and mindset! These, to me, are just as important if not more so to success than anything else he could learn.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let’s get together in one week for Coffee with Intention to talk about self-awareness, where you are in that journey and share the lessons learned.
