You are your greatest and most important witness.
Being willing to face ourselves is probably one of the hardest things we can do. It means coming face-to-face with the many parts of us, meeting ourselves with vulnerability and honesty, and having to give ourselves space to be who we are. It means being willing to look at the whole of you, not just the disparate parts, to truly understand who you are.
To help facilitate this process and it’s time for your Reveal where you finally get to see your images, I create space for you by inviting you to create space for yourself. My invitation includes:
– Seeing all of your photos at once so that you can see the complexity of who you are.
– Letting go of judging yourself for your initial reactions to the photos, trusting that those reactions will provide insight into how you see yourself.
– Understanding that you are not responsible for my feelings. You are here to only tend to your own.
Every step of the Transformative Portrait Experience is about intention and presence and is designed to help you learn to see who you are and embrace every single part of you so that you can feel and understand that you are a complete and whole human being.
