The only thing standing in the way of who you think you are and who you aspire to be is how you see yourself.
If only I could lose weight, if only I could meet the perfect partner, if only I could get my dream job, if only I could change this or that about myself…
We think that improving our lives comes with changing something about ourselves. We believe that the ideal version of ourselves is someone different that who we think we currently are so that’s where we tend to focus.
But the truth is, true and lasting change comes from not changing who we are but from changing how we see ourselves. We can only do that through our willingness to face our whole selves, from light to shadow, with raw honesty and lovingly witnessing all the parts of us with compassion.
Once we take the steps to do this, we give ourselves permission to accept and love ourselves as we are… as the flawed and complex humans that we are. This helps us feel whole which creates room in us to get to our most essential selves… the version of us who just IS. This is the woman we aspire to be and she already lives in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US.
The Transformative Portrait experience is one of the ways you can facilitate this process. We walk together through deep self-reflection, exploration, and use tools to learn to accept and love yourself. Going through this can help you see yourself more clearly and recognize that you are already an amazing and beautiful human being worthy of love.
