When I serve a new Transformative Portrait Session client, I give her a journal. I pick one out for her intuitively and based on what I know about her and ask her to bring it to all the times we meet. ⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not only is writing an important part of the experience, it is a beautiful way to document her thoughts and feelings as she moves through the process. I invite her to complete writing assignments in between sessions (her choice to do them), and of course, during our connections.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The aim of all our encounters is to provide a space where a woman feels truly connected to herself because when we are in this space, we are able to access parts of ourselves we normally aren’t connected to day to day. Then the journal become a wonderful tool for further self-reflection beyond the transformative experience. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which journal would you pick for yourself? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
