How do you represent someone’s art through a photograph? How do you embody the feeling of something so personal that represents a physical manifestation of their inner selves?
When we work together to create your branding images, I don’t just place you somewhere and tell you to look at the camera. We collaborate with ideas and then talk. I ask you questions and then gently guide you to get you where you need to be… to feel what you felt when you created your piece and your intentions behind it.

I had the pleasure of photographing @rya.wu.art for her latest exhibit and took photos of her sculptures including this piece called “Dreaming Together.” I love how this turned out. It’s so dreamy looking and Rya’s eyes tell you that she’s been through a lot to get to this place and is inviting you to delve deeper. In the second photo (swipe), you see a different side…more playful with a glint in her eye. And that ribbon “clarity” just happened to be there. We didn’t stage that!
How do these photos make you feel?
