Gloria came to me looking for Professional Portraits. After spending years as a stay-at-home mom and focusing on raising her son, she was ready to pursue her dream career as a professional singer. Despite some discomfort around having her photograph taken, she knew the industry required her to submit headshots to audition so she came to me.
At our consultation, we discussed her fears and how we’ll approach the portrait session and came up with how she wanted to feel about and present herself. She wanted to be approachable, more casual than professional and shine her brightest light.
Working with professional makeup artist LiSun Goh, we came up with a look for Gloria that stayed true to who she was but amplified her natural beauty. We worked on getting her to feel ease and comfortable in her own skin to get authentic portraits that reflected her personality.
