"I never wanted my self esteem, my self worth to be based outside myself again... what shifted everything for me was that I was going to have stable self worth no matter what and that was going to be my foundational belief. That doesn't change. I'm not here to be a perfect person and I'm not here to only do good things. There's a whole person here."
One of the features of the Empowered Sisterhood membership community is Member Live! where I have a conversation with a member to learn about her journey. The most recent one was with Stephanie Hindman who is a coach and works at a crisis hotline. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She shared that the biggest shift in her journey came when she lost everything external to herself…her job, hobby, boyfriend…and realized when she was only left with herself that she didn’t like who she was. This forced her to re-evaluate her life and to shift her self worth onto herself, rather than everything outside of her.
We are so fortunate to have Stephanie as part of our community and with whom we can do the work. She is a tireless advocate for self acceptance, especially of mental health differences, and of showing up unapologetically as herself. Would you like to be a part of the community? Why Empowered Sisterhood?
